Travel Purpose: business

Positive: Very comfortable bed & attractive decor Well equipped kitchen though rather disorganised- shelving would help Good choice of hot drinks & fresh milk which was greatly appreciated Very peaceful

Negative: Dated & shabby state of the place- old and stained toilet and washbasin ( the latter hardly big enough to wash a mouse) Cracks and dents in walls and doors, in urgent need of refurbish. Location- up a steep narrow winding track which I didn’t appreciate in an underpowered Japanese car, would be horrible in the dark or heavy rain. Mountain view? Only if you squint between two bushes or walk back down the track! Intimidating & hostile signage at road level telling you Go back, private property; when you arrive at the property you are met not by a B and B sign, or even a house number, but a picture of an assault rifle and ‘No trespassing’ !Words fail. The property looks abandoned and unwelcoming; there is also a large and none-too-friendly dog which needs keeping under control. Once you’re through all that the actual place is ok.

Summary: OK for a quick stopover, if you can find it and have 4-wheel drive
